Outdoor Adventure Retreats (OAR) is seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to lead operations at Crescent Fish Camp, our award-winning waterfront RV resort and marina on Crescent Lake in Crescent City, Florida. This is a full-time, year-round position ideal for someone who thrives in hospitality, enjoys the outdoors, and is ready to grow with a dynamic and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management

• Recruit, train, and manage staff
• Conduct weekly team meetings and performance evaluations
• Lead by example during high-traffic times (weekends, holidays, events)

Guest Experience & Customer Service

• Ensure exceptional guest service and resolve issues promptly
• Implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction
• Monitor and respond to guest feedback

Operations & Maintenance

• Oversee maintenance of all facilities and amenities
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams
• Maintain operational guidelines and safety standards

Financial Management

• Monitor budgets and control expenses
• Report on occupancy, revenue, and financial performance
• Manage vendor payments and financial documentation

Sales, Marketing & Revenue Generation

• Collaborate on promotions and new income streams
• Manage inventory and online presence
• Post regularly on the location’s Facebook page and respond to reviews

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all regulations
• Conduct safety training and audits
• Maintain licensing and safety documentation

Vendor & Supplier Relations

• Manage vendor contracts and purchasing
• Oversee on-site contractors and inventory tracking

Property Development

• Recommend and oversee property improvements
• Stay informed on industry trends and growth opportunities

Requirements:

• Prior experience in hospitality or campground management
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to live on-site in your own RV (FHU site provided)
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and peak seasons
• Must pass a background check

Compensation, Hours & Amenities: Starting salary ranging from $36,000-$42,000, plus 100% of tips earned. One FHU (30/50amp) RV space and utilities will be provided to you free of charge. Free campground wi-fi and use of campground bathhouse. General Managers are also eligible to earn performance-based annual bonuses. General Managers must work 5 full days per week, including weekends and holidays. Days off will be weekdays.
