OUT Georgia is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization and the official NGLCC affiliate for Georgia. We champion economic success for LGBTQIA+ businesses and allies across the state through advocacy, certification, community programs, and meaningful connections.


Position Summary:

The Operations and Program Manager will support the Board of Directors in streamlining day-to-day operations, enhancing member engagement, coordinating impactful programming, and representing OUT Georgia professionally and inclusively. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive, and creative problem-solver who thrives in mission-driven work.


Key Responsibilities:


Operations & Administration

  • Maintain a well-organized digital workspace with SOPs and automation templates.
  • Manage scheduling for the Executive Director, Board, TGX360 Advisory Committee, and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee the [email protected] inbox and escalate messages appropriately.
  • Prepare and distribute reports and documents for meetings, including membership updates.

Membership Management

  • Maintain and update MembershipWorks CRM and directory listings.
  • Process new and renewing memberships with approved onboarding content.
  • Manage systematic communications and monthly membership reports.

Programs & Events

  • Serve as project manager for TGX360 and OGBA programs and events, ensuring timelines and goals are met.
  • Coordinate with NGLCC for site visits and LGBTBE certifications.
  • Support and execute partner and sponsor programming, events, and follow-ups.
  • Attend OGBA and TGX360 events; assist with logistics, check-in, photography, and follow-up.

Community Engagement & Communication

  • Maintain consistent communications with ambassadors, TGX360 council, and volunteers.
  • Manage and promote monthly statewide networking lunches, including follow-up communication.
  • Contribute to organizational communications, including newsletters (Constant Contact), web content (WordPress), and social media updates.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience of 3+ years.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, CRMs, and social media platforms.
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn: WordPress, MembershipWorks, Canva, Adobe, InDesign, Photoshop, HTML5.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse groups.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Work Conditions:

  • Occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs); must be able to stand, sit, and move during events.
  • Hybrid work with occasional evenings/weekends for events.
  • Must be comfortable and affirming in LGBTQIA+ spaces and mission-driven work.
