We're looking for a Government Contracts Sales Specialist to lead our expansion in the public sector. In this role, you'll manage the full sales cycle, from identifying opportunities through government bidding platforms (GSA, SAM.gov, etc.) to negotiating and securing long-term contracts with federal agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of government contract opportunities
  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs and lead proposal development
  • Build and maintain relationships with procurement officers and agency stakeholders
  • Navigate GSA schedules and government purchasing regulations
  • Conduct outreach to potential clients through cold calling and direct sales efforts
  • Demonstrate our services through product demos tailored to client needs
  • Manage client accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention
  • Analyze client requirements and propose customized solutions based on their needs
  • Upsell additional services to existing clients to maximize revenue opportunities


Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in public sector sales, business development, or government contracting
  • Strong knowledge of GSA schedules and the federal procurement process
  • Proven experience in writing, submitting, and winning proposals
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Strong account management skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interactions
  • Ability to analyze client needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Familiarity with CRM software is a plus
  • Experience in cold calling and direct sales techniques
  • Clearance or experience with federal clients (preferred)

Compensation Package
