Origin is seeking experienced Private Investigators nationwide. Field investigators who thrive in the field, excel at building rapport, and know how to uncover the truth through skilled interviewing, surveillance, and investigative persistence.

This role is ideal for professionals with experience conducting wellness checks, witness interviews, surveillance operations, statement taking, and complex field investigations. What You'll Do

• Conduct field investigations involving wellness checks, witness interviews, surveillance, and fact-finding assignments
• Obtain detailed recorded statements from witnesses, claimants, subjects, and other involved parties
• Build rapport quickly and utilize advanced interviewing techniques to uncover key facts and information
• Conduct surveillance operations and document findings accurately
• Gather, analyze, and verify evidence from multiple sources
• Identify inconsistencies, develop investigative leads, and assess credibility
• Prepare clear, thorough, and professional reports
• Maintain communication with clients, management, and investigative team members
• Travel regularly to conduct investigations throughout assigned territories

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of private investigation experience
• Strong experience conducting witness interviews, statement taking, and field investigations
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport and obtain meaningful information from subjects
• Experience conducting surveillance and documenting observations
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent report writing and communication abilities
• Self-motivated, professional, and capable of working independently
• Preferably current/former law enforcement
• Willingness to travel 75%–100% as assignments require

Compensation & Benefits

• $24–$40 per hour, based on experience
