Description

We’re growing! 🎉

Orbit Marketing is looking for a dedicated Issue Writer to help us meet increasing client fulfillment needs. In this role, you’ll write weekly newsletters on behalf of our clients, many of whom have large, highly engaged audiences. You’ll start by shadowing our team, editing and polishing fully researched drafts, and improving them based on clear style, voice, and content guidelines.

As you demonstrate consistency and quality, you’ll graduate to owning client projects end to end, handling topic selection, research, drafting, editing, and publishing. You’ll collaborate with a fully remote team using Slack, email, and ClickUp, hitting the ground running and increasing your responsibility as you grow into the role.

This position can be demanding and is best suited for someone who is deadline-driven, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. You should be comfortable following structured checklists, incorporating client feedback, and adapting your writing style across industries like ecommerce, finance, technology, investing, and digital marketing.

Candidates who advance to the second stage of the interview process will be asked to complete a 1-hour, video-recorded writing assessment.
