Responsibilities for Licensed Loan Officers (MLOs)
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and referral partners
- Guide clients through the mortgage process from application to closing
- Analyze financial needs and recommend appropriate loan products
- Manage loan files and ensure smooth, timely closings
- Maintain consistent communication with all parties involved
- Meet or exceed production goals
Responsibilities for Entry-Level Candidates (Loan Officer Assistant → MLO Path)
- Collect, review, and organize client documentation
- Communicate with clients and internal teams to support the loan process
- Learn the mortgage process from application to closing
- Support pipeline management and ensure smooth transactions
- Work toward becoming a Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO)
What We're Looking For
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Active MLO license OR strong interest in becoming licensed
Preferred (Not Required):
- Experience in mortgage lending, sales, or customer-facing roles
- Existing referral network or book of business (for licensed candidates)
- Administrative or support experience (for entry-level candidates)
