Looking for an experienced Music School Administrative Manager with proven customer service, sales and complex scheduling experience!
Opus 1 Music Studio is a highly reputable music school in Palo Alto and Mountain View, with a large student base and a team of dedicated teachers. We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to join us as an Administrative Manager. If you have a knack for solving puzzles and a talent for seeing the bigger picture, we want to hear from you!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver exceptional customer service through various channels (phone, SMS, email, in person)
- Manage complex scheduling for multiple rooms, locations, teachers, and students
- Respond to and follow up on customer inquiries, converting trial students into long-term members
- Support membership retention and growth initiatives
- Assist customers with lesson cancellations and rescheduling while enforcing school policies
- Collaborate on the planning and execution of recitals and events
- Handle other projects and duties as assigned
REQUIRED:
- Proven experience in managing complex schedules
- Quick learner with new software platforms
- Availability for onsite work on weekdays (1pm-9pm) and weekends (8:45am-4:45pm)
- Strong customer service and sales skills
- Familiarity with online scheduling tools and office software
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility
- Professionalism and courtesy in all interactions
- Excellent communication skills in English
BONUS:
- Background in music programs or education
- Experience in early childhood education
- Sales experience and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in foreign languages such as Chinese, Korean, or French
SCHEDULE:
- Combination of weekday and weekend shifts as mentioned above
WORK LOCATION:
- Multiple locations, onsite work required
