**Job Title:** IT Desktop Support (MSP)
**Job Overview:**
The IT Desktop Support Specialist plays a key role in ensuring that end-users experience minimal disruptions and maintain productivity. This role requires a strong understanding of IT systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve a variety of technical issues.
**Responsibilities:**
- Manage and troubleshoot TCP/IP, WAN/LAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related problems.
- Provide timely and effective desktop support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software.
- Work closely with IT team members and vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
- Document and maintain accurate records of IT support issues and resolutions.
- Stay current on the latest IT trends and technologies to improve support services.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
- Deliver professional, courteous, and timely support to ensure high user satisfaction.
**Requirements:**
- 2+ years of experience in desktop support or a related field
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) are a plus
