Job Responsibilities:

• Install patch panel, network switches, security cameras, amplifier/receiver, firewall, and WiFi devices to backer boards or server racks.
• Terminating CAT5e, CAT6 cable, COAX and punching down 66 Blocks experience is an ABSOLUTE must.
• Route and connect cables and lines to switches, switchboard equipment, and rack, using wire-manage, cleanup lines to look neat and professional.
• Working knowledge of integration and automation hardware, voice/data, audio/visual, security equipment and network equipment.
• Repair or replace faulty equipment such as defective and damaged telephones, wires, network components, and associated equipment.
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and motor vehicles.
• Perform pre-installation testing on new equipment to determine its compatibility with One Way Solutions products. This includes but is not limited to: power supplies, codecs, filters, speakers, microphones, etc.
• Install new equipment in customer environments.

Job Requirements:

• Lifts at least 60 pounds at one time and 30 pounds for an extended period of time.
• Relocate an 8-12 foot stepladder without assistance.
• Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.
• Candidates should have a minimum of four (4) years of commercial low-voltage experience.
• Occasionally some after hours and weekend work may be scheduled to meet client/project requirements/deadlines.
• Ability to work well independently as well with peers and managers.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule when needed.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Experience working on construction site and safety.
