Job Summary and Responsibilities:

An Entry Level Robotics Technician at One Off Robotics has a strong desire to learn all aspects of our technology. You should be a highly effective communicator who is eager to support the day-to-day operations. We aim to build your skillset over the years, and we value all contributions you can make from day one. You will be responsible for maintaining an organized shop, assembling robotic systems, 3D printing, CAD work, fabrication, and more.

The complexity of this technology spans multiple engineering disciplines, so we don't expect you to have all the skills necessary for this role. We will provide ongoing training to help you become an expert in this emerging technology. The ideal candidate will be humble with a clear passion for engineering. Actual role activities will depend on the skills you possess at hire.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Learn as much as possible about electrical, mechanical, software, 3D printing, machining, CAD, CAM, and robotic fabrication
  • Maintain the shop organization, cleanliness, inventory, etc.
  • Support team members wherever needed
  • Develop new skills and take on additional responsibilities as you learn 


Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of High school diploma (Trade school, 2 year, or 4 year degree is a plus) 
  • Mechanical, electrical, or fabrication experience 
  • An understanding of low voltage, high voltage, AC, and DC systems
  • Software programming experience
  • 3D printing experience
  • CAD/CAM experience
  • Comfortable using power tools


Job Details: 

  • Location: North Shore Chattanooga, TN
  • Hourly: $14-$16 /hr
  • Hours: Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm with flexibility
  • Travel: For robotic installations in North America, as needed.
