From the beginning, our prayer has been to join God in the work He is already doing, seeing lives impacted and transformed by the good news of Jesus Christ. SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to provide high-level leadership to our adult ministries: Small Groups, One Mission Men, One Mission Women, and Connections. This person will build environments where adults are welcomed into the life of the church, grow as disciples of Jesus, and are developed into disciple-makers and leaders.

OUTCOMES AND RESULTS

Success in this role will result in:

• Adults taking real steps of growth and becoming more like Jesus in character, priorities, and life patterns.
• Multiplying the number of groups and equipped leaders in accordance with our level 5 church framework, not only the number of people in groups growing.
• A co-leader or apprentice being developed inside every group.
• Discipling relationships functioning as a normal part of adult life rather than a separate program.
• Adults actively BLESSing people far from God and engaging them with the gospel.
• Guests moving from first visit to belonging to partnership. They are connected into community and a place to serve.
• Volunteers equipped and empowered to lead and own ministry.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

• Ministry Strategy: Own the purpose and plans for Small Groups, Men's, Women's, and Connections in collaboration with the Lead Pastor. Maintain one clear pathway from first contact to community to discipleship to leadership.
• Small Groups: Lead engagement, spiritual vibrancy, and multiplication. Grow participation through connection events, personal invitation, Sunday mornings, and Join the Mission. Build every group around Connect, Grow, and BLESS.
• Leader Development and Multiplication: Recruit, train, coach, and release leaders. Build and lead the coaching structure. Set apprentice and new group goals with leaders, and celebrate multiplication so reproduction becomes the expected outcome of a healthy group.
• Men's Ministry: Provide vision, teaching oversight, and leader development for One Mission Men, including the weekly Waypoint gathering and its group structure.
• Women's Ministry: Provide vision and oversight for One Mission Women in partnership with the women's leadership team, developing leaders and strengthening Bible study groups.
• Connections: Oversee the guest and next steps experience, including hospitality, guest follow up, Join the Mission, and placement into groups, serving, and partner relationships. Develop the volunteer team who guide people forward.
• Discipleship: Personally disciple a small number of leaders and equip others to do the same, using our three questions: Who are you? Where are you spiritually? How can I help you take the next step?
• Communication: Communicate clearly across multiple platforms and settings, including teaching, training, and leader and congregational communication.
• Collaboration: Work closely with staff and ministry teams to align adult ministry with the mission, vision, and values of the church.
• Stewardship of Time, Budget, and Systems: Manage ministry calendars, budgets, and records so that events and rhythms serve the strategy.
• Evaluation and Growth: Assess ministry health, track progress, identify opportunities, and celebrate life change.
• Pastoral Care: Provide pastoral care to adults and families as needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of adult, small group, or comparable ministry experience, with a track record of developing people who go on to lead.
• Bachelor's degree; proven ability to disciple and develop leaders.
• Strong communicator with the ability to cast vision, teach biblical truth, and mobilize people.
• Personally practices what this role asks of others: in a discipling relationship, building relationships with people far from God, and reproducing their leadership in others.
• Alignment with the church's theological beliefs and active membership.
• Ownership mindset toward the church's mission, vision, values, and goals.
• Ability to adapt and function effectively in a dynamic and growing environment.
