What You'll Do
Operations & Scheduling
- Receive and process incoming utility locate requests and service tickets
- Route 811 tickets and work assignments to field personnel
- Assist with scheduling private utility locating projects
- Coordinate daily field activities and support efficient resource allocation
- Monitor project status and communicate updates to customers and management
Customer Service & Communication
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails professionally
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customer questions and service requests
- Maintain positive relationships with clients and business partners
- Provide timely updates regarding project schedules and status
Administrative & Project Support
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation
- Track proposals, estimates, and business opportunities within company CRM systems
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and operational documentation
- Assist with inventory management for field and office supplies
- Support special projects and company initiatives as assigned
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Dispatching
- Scheduling
- Customer service
- Office administration
- Project coordination
- Construction administration
- Service coordination
- Operations support
Utility locating or 811 experience is a plus but not required.
Skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable learning new software and technology platforms
Training & Development
We provide training on:
- One Call Concepts (811 Ticket Management)
- Roadpro/Routra CRM
- Utility locating operations and industry processes
- Company procedures and workflows

Within your first 90 days, you will:
- Consistently manage incoming tickets and customer communications
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Learn company systems and processes
- Become a reliable support resource for field operations and customers
- Contribute to efficient scheduling and project coordination
