Join Human Touch Health as a Medical Assistant and Receptionist, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth office operations. Success in this role means delivering compassionate service while efficiently managing administrative tasks.
We are a small, family-run internal medicine clinic in Lyons, Colorado. Our team is led by Dr. Eric Harker, who has been providing primary care in Colorado for 25 years. We are looking for another team member to fill a variety of responsibilities to help as our clinic grows. Our practice is focused on person-centered care, different from traditional primary care, which is plagued by short appointment times and large patient panels. We pride ourselves on personalized patient care, a welcoming atmosphere, and the ability to personally interact with all our patients. A large majority of our patient population are Medicaid and Medicare patients with chronic conditions or complex medical needs. We are looking for individuals who value the importance of community, find fulfillment in helping others, and are dedicated to creating a welcoming clinical environment.
We are also dedicated to contributing to the creation of better clinical practices and a more sustainable medical system that is built on compassion, evidence-based interventions, and ongoing provider-patient relationships. While we are looking for someone with Medical Assistant experience, we are also excited by the idea of creating on-the-job training for the right candidate. This could be an ideal job for students looking to gain practical clinical skills while in school. We are looking for a part-time employee at the moment, with potential for full-time as our practice grows, and our practice manager begins her anticipated transition out of the clinic in roughly a year.

We are hiring for a part-time role, estimating 4 hours a day on weekdays. As a small clinic that prioritizes interpersonal relationships and compassion, we are offering flexibility in these hours and days.
As our office is small, our Medical Assistant role also involves medical reception tasks. On any given day, responsibilities may range from answering scheduling calls to helping with minor procedures. Due to the integrated nature of our care model, few medical assistant tasks do not involve some kind of clinical engagement as well. Below are the tasks broken down by role:
