Pay: $160 – $180 per shift (6 hours)

Schedule: Part-Time | 3 to 4 nights per week

Job Description

Seeking a reliable 1099 subcontractor to act as a ground spotter assisting with overnight scissor lift operations at a job site in Lewisburg. This is a part-time independent contractor role running approximately 3 to 4 nights per week. You will serve as the eyes and ears on the ground to ensure the lift operates safely and in full compliance with job site safety standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Guide the scissor lift operator safely through the work area.
• Scan for overhead obstructions, power lines, drop-offs, and ground hazards.
• Maintain clear hand signals and visual communication with the operator at all times.
• Keep pedestrians and site traffic clear of the lift's perimeter.
• Help enforce basic job site safety protocols and stay focused throughout each 6-hour shift.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of basic construction site safety procedures and regulations (OSHA standards a plus).
• Must be willing to work as an independent contractor (1099).
• Must have reliable transportation to Lewisburg, PA.
• Availability for 3 to 4 overnight shifts per week.
• High-visibility vest/clothing and work boots required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and stay alert for full overnight hours.
• Prior experience on construction sites or around heavy equipment preferred.
