OBM, Inc. seeks a hard-working and passionate manual tester and documentation specialist to help us build our HPC management and energy agility platform, Foreman. Responsibilities


  • Testing
  • Design, create, and execute manual test cases to ensure the quality of software products.
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and identify test scenarios.
  • Participate and collaborate in test planning and strategy sessions.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and acceptance testing (Non-functional testing experience is a plus).
  • Document test results, defects, and test coverage.
  • Find, report, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
  • Work closely with developers to resolve issues and validate fixes.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and testing methodologies.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of testing processes and procedures.
  • Documentation
  • Create end-user documentation and in-app guides for new and existing features and to onboard new users

 

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Proven experience as a Manual Tester in software development projects.
  • Experienced in creating high-quality end-user documentation and in-app guides for software products.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques.
  • Experience with test case creation, execution, and defect management.
  • Knowledge of test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for quality assurance and helping end users.
  • ISTQB certification or similar is a plus.
