We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our growing team. This role is crucial in identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities, developing partnerships, and increasing revenue. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a proven track record of success in sales and business development.
Responsibilities:
- Execute comprehensive business development strategies aligned with company goals
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and revenue streams, including, but not limited to, partnerships with energy companies (suppliers, demand response aggregators, and regulated entities), deployers of AI/HPC GPU compute, and cryptocurrency machine manufacturers and firmware companies
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners and industry stakeholders
- Conduct market research to identify potential partners and opportunities
- Create compelling proposals and presentations to showcase our products or services
- Negotiate partnerships and deals to maximize revenue and profitability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to achieve business objectives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in sales and business development
- Background in the power industry: demand response, or retail electric providers preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools
