We are seeking a Business Development Manager to help identify, develop, and close new business opportunities, develop partnerships, and increase revenue.

Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our growing team. This role is crucial in identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities, developing partnerships, and increasing revenue. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a proven track record of success in sales and business development.


Responsibilities:

  • Execute comprehensive business development strategies aligned with company goals
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and revenue streams, including, but not limited to, partnerships with energy companies (suppliers, demand response aggregators, and regulated entities), deployers of AI/HPC GPU compute, and cryptocurrency machine manufacturers and firmware companies
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners and industry stakeholders
  • Conduct market research to identify potential partners and opportunities
  • Create compelling proposals and presentations to showcase our products or services
  • Negotiate partnerships and deals to maximize revenue and profitability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to achieve business objectives


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in sales and business development
  • Background in the power industry: demand response, or retail electric providers preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools

Salary

$90,000 - $125,000 per year
