TRAVEL SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST (CVOR / CARDIAC SURGERY / OPERATING ROOM)

Travel Assignment | Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Weekly Pay: $2,160 – $2,659

13-Week Contract | 36-40 Hours Weekly

NurseAmerica is actively seeking experienced Surgical Technologists for exciting travel assignments in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a nationally recognized Level I Trauma Center supporting complex surgical procedures, including Cardiac Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery, Trauma, Robotics, and Transplant Services.

Assignment Highlights

• Weekly Pay: $2,160 – $2,659

• 13-Week Contract

• 36-40 Hours Weekly

• Day, Evening, Night & Rotating Shifts Available

• On-Call Required

• Weekend Rotation Required

• In-House Call Rooms Available

Required Qualifications

• CST Certification (NBSTSA)

• Minimum 2 years recent OR experience

• Level I Trauma experience within the last 3 years

• Minimum 1 year recent travel experience

• No more than 90-day employment gap

• One professional reference within the last 36 months

Required Clinical Experience

Candidates must be highly proficient in one or more areas:

• General Surgery

• Orthopedic Surgery (Total Joints)

• Neuro Surgery (Craniotomy & Spine)

• Vascular Surgery

• Trauma Surgery

• Robotics (DaVinci)

• Cardiac Surgery

• Transplant Surgery preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields

• Assist surgeons during procedures

• Maintain sterile technique

• Handle instrumentation and supplies

• Support patient safety initiatives

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams
