Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED)

$2,700 – $2,900/week

13-Week Travel Assignment | 36 Hours Guaranteed

NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a high-acuity travel assignment in Upstate New York. This is a fast-paced unit treating a wide range of critical conditions across all age groups.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: June 29, 2026
• Shift: 2:30 PM – 3:00 AM
• Schedule: 3x12s (36 hours guaranteed)
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Floating: Required
• Scrubs: Navy Blue

Compensation

• Weekly Pay: $2,700 – $2,900
• Tax-Free Stipends Included
• Overtime Available (Daily after 24 hrs / Weekly after 48 hrs)

Unit Overview

• Beds: 64 total (Triage, Acute, Trauma, CDU, Psych)
• Patient Population: Newborn → Geriatric
• Common Cases: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, MI, Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory Failure
• Equipment: Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun
• EMR: EPIC

Requirements

• Active NY RN License
• 2+ years ED experience (with PEDS experience required)
• Travel experience preferred
• Charge experience highly preferred
• Certifications Required:
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIHSS
• TNCC
• EPIC experience required
