Job Overview

NurseAmerica is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Travel Acute Rehabilitation Unit assignment. This role is ideal for RNs who excel in patient recovery, care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Position Details

• Unit: Acute Rehab
• Schedule: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: May 26, 2026
• Travel Requirement: Must live 100+ miles away

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient progress and document outcomes
• Educate patients and families on recovery and care plans
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain compliance with clinical and safety standards
• May assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS & ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1–2 years of RN experience
• At least 1 completed travel assignment required
• Acute Rehab or inpatient rehab experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills
