• Estimated Weekly Gross: $3,200
• Weekly Housing & Meals Stipend (Tax-Free): $1,246

Position Overview

NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a travel assignment in Watertown, NY. This role is ideal for nurses with strong perioperative experience who can thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Unit Details

• Unit Type: Operating Room
• Patient Population: Adults
• Environment: Surgical/Perioperative care setting
• Responsibilities: Assisting in surgical procedures, maintaining sterile field, patient monitoring pre/intra/post-op

Schedule

• Rotating Shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM & 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 40 hours guaranteed per week
• On-call required (30-minute response time)

Requirements

• Active New York RN License
• Minimum 2+ years Operating Room experience
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• BLS required, ACLS preferred
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures & sterile techniques
• Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
• Prior charge, preceptorship, or leadership experience preferred
