Travel Nurse Recruiter (Remote – USA)

Salary: $55K–$75K base

Plus commission per placement

Position Overview

NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Travel Nurse Recruiter to join our growing healthcare staffing team. This is a fully remote opportunity for a motivated recruiter with proven experience in travel nursing recruitment and healthcare staffing.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience managing travel nurse pipelines, and the ability to build lasting relationships with healthcare professionals across the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Source and recruit qualified travel nurses nationwide
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates
  • Conduct candidate screening and initial interviews
  • Submit candidates to open assignments quickly and accurately
  • Manage recruiter pipeline and candidate follow-ups
  • Coordinate with compliance and credentialing teams
  • Negotiate pay packages and assignment details
  • Utilize ATS/CRM systems to maintain accurate records
  • Meet weekly and monthly recruiting KPIs
  • Maintain consistent communication throughout the hiring process

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen or authorized to work in the United States
  • 2+ years of travel nurse recruiting experience required
  • Previous healthcare staffing agency experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of travel nursing processes and compliance
  • Experience with ATS/CRM systems
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing database/network of travel nurses
  • Experience recruiting for ICU, ER, OR, CVOR, Med Surg, or L&D
  • Experience with VMS/MSP platforms
  • Social media and outbound recruiting experience
