💰 Pay Package

• Estimated Weekly Gross: $2,800
• Weekly Housing & Meals Stipend (Tax-Free): $1,246

Position Overview

NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Travel Med Surg RN for a high-demand assignment in Utica, NY. This role is ideal for nurses with strong medical-surgical experience, particularly in post-surgical patient care.

Unit Details

• Unit Type: Medical Surgical (MS)
• Patient Population: Adults
• Common Diagnoses: Post-surgical care including abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, bariatric cases
• Specialty Equipment: IV pumps, NG tubes, feeding tubes
• Charting System: EPIC
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Floating: Required as needed

Schedule

• Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed
• 36 hours guaranteed per week

Requirements

• Active New York RN License
• Minimum 2+ years of Med Surg experience
• Travel experience required
• AHA BLS Certification
• EPIC EMR experience required
