Pay Package
- Estimated Weekly Gross: $2,900
- Tax-Free Stipend: $1,246
- Weekly Taxable Wages: $1,654
Position Overview
NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Travel Med Surg RN in Connecticut for a high-volume Med Surg unit in Utica, NY. This role involves caring for adult patients, primarily focused on post-surgical recovery and general medical conditions.
Unit Details
- Unit Type: Med Surg
- Patient Population: Adult patients
- Common Diagnoses: Post-surgical care, abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, morbid obesity (bariatric surgery)
- Specialty Equipment: IV pumps, NG tubes, feeding tubes
- Charting System: EPIC
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- Floating: Required based on census
Requirements
- Active RN License in New York
- Minimum 2+ years of Med Surg experience
- Travel experience required
- BLS (AHA) Certification
- EPIC experience required
Referral Bonus:
Refer a qualified candidate and earn up to $500 referral bonus once the assignment is successfully completed.
Salary
$2,800 - $2,900 per week
