Travel ICU RN – Utica, NY (Night Shift)

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)

Hours: 36 guaranteed hours/week

Job Overview

NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU for a 13-week assignment in Utica, NY. This is a high-acuity unit requiring strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and prior travel experience.

Unit Details

• 42-bed ICU (Neuro/Med, CTICU, Trauma/Surgical)
• Patient Types: Stroke, sepsis, respiratory failure, CHF, trauma, post-op surgical, cardiogenic shock
• Equipment: IABP, CRRT (Prismaflex/NxStage), ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM (Arctic Sun)
• Floating required (excluding Behavioral Health & ER unless holding)

Requirements

• Active NY RN License (required)
• Minimum 2+ years ICU experience (SICU, CTICU, Trauma, Neuro ICU accepted)
• Travel experience REQUIRED
• Local candidates accepted (within 75 miles at local rate)
• Experience with CRRT & Prismaflex (required)
• Cardiac/heart experience highly preferred
• EMR experience: EPIC
• Certifications:
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• NIHSS
• 2 recent ICU Charge/Manager RN references
• Valid driver’s license (matching address)
• NURSYS license verification report
