Position Overview

NurseAmerica is seeking experienced Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurses for multiple 13-week assignments in Utica, NY. This opportunity is ideal for experienced ER nurses looking to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency department with flexible shift options and competitive weekly pay.

• Unit Type: Emergency Department
• Number of Beds: 64
• 2 Triage Beds
• 40 Acute Care Beds
• 6 Super Track Beds
• 2 Trauma Bays
• 10 Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) Beds
• 6 Psychiatric Beds
• Patient Population: Newborns, Pediatrics, Adults & Geriatrics
• Common Diagnoses: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, Myocardial Infarction (MI), Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory Failure
• Specialty Equipment: Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun
• EMR: EPIC
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Floating: Required as needed
• Charge Nurse Experience: Highly Preferred

Requirements

• Active New York RN License
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department RN experience
• Travel experience required
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS & TNCC certifications (TNCC must be in hand)
• EPIC EMR experience
• Strong emergency assessment, triage, and critical care skills
