Location: Washington DC Metro Area | Full-Time
$90,000 – $120,000 Salary + $15,000 Bonus Package
Compensation Highlights:
• $90K – $120K base salary

NurseAmerica is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Oncology RN to join a high-performing outpatient team supporting patients undergoing radiation and chemotherapy treatments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments (medical history, labs, psychosocial needs)
• Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Administer medications, chemotherapy-related treatments, and blood
products
• Perform venipuncture and manage central lines and implanted ports
• Monitor patient response to treatment and coordinate dose adjustments
• Provide patient and family education and emotional support
• Ensure accurate documentation and proper treatment authorization
• Follow OSHA and infection control standards for hazardous materials
• Assist with patient flow, triage calls, scheduling, and referrals
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and clinical teams
Qualifications:
• Active RN license (Maryland)/ Compact
• BLS certification
• 1–3 years RN experience (oncology preferred)
• Strong clinical and communication skills
Work Environment:
• Outpatient oncology setting
• Exposure to radiation and cytotoxic agents
• Standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 lbs required
