Registered Nurse (RN) – OR / Med-Surg | Per Diem

Location: Utica, NY

Schedule: Per Diem (Flexible Shifts)

Pay Rate: $40 – $45 per hour

About the Role

NurseAmerica is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with OR or Med-Surg experience to support clinical operations in a fast-paced outpatient pain management setting.

This role focuses on assisting with procedures, patient care, and coordination in a controlled, clinic-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care
• Assist physicians during outpatient procedures
• Monitor patients and document clinical information accurately
• Administer medications as required
• Educate patients on procedures, recovery, and follow-up care
• Ensure compliance with clinical and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active RN license in NY (or compact license if applicable)
• Experience in OR, Med-Surg, or procedural settings
• Strong clinical and patient care skills
• Experience with IVs or outpatient procedures preferred
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Work Environment

• Outpatient, clinic-based setting
• Predictable, scheduled procedures
• No inpatient care, overnight shifts, ER, or trauma
