Position Overview:

Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The Med-Surg RN provides care for adult patients with a broad range of medical conditions and post-surgical needs in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical and communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, assess, and treat adult patients with medical and surgical conditions.
• Administer medications, start IVs, and perform wound care and other nursing duties.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using electronic health record systems.
• Respond to changes in patient conditions and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and nursing standards of care.

Requirements:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state.
• At least 2 years of experience as an RN
• At least 1 year of experience in MedSurg experience
• BLS certification
