Registered Nurse Manager

Full-Time | White Plains, NY

$105,000–$130,000/year


NurseAmerica is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager (RN) in Philadelphia, PA, Baltimore, MD, Washington, DC, Richmond, VA, and Pittsburgh, PA to support clinical operations within a senior living community in White Plains, NY. Role Overview

The Nurse Manager supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical services, staff supervision, resident care coordination, medication management, and regulatory compliance. This role plays a key part in ensuring high-quality care and a safe, supportive environment for residents.


Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Administrative Oversight

  • Supervise nursing staff, caregivers, and medication assistants
  • Provide coverage in the absence of the Director of Nursing
  • Monitor staffing assignments and clinical coverage
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings


Resident Care & Documentation

  • Assist with pre-admission evaluations and Individualized Service Plans (ISPs)
  • Conduct resident assessments and document changes in condition
  • Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacies, hospice, rehab, and home health

Medication Management

  • Oversee medication ordering, storage, and administration
  • Ensure compliance with medication protocols

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Participate in QA meetings and audits
  • Maintain compliance with policies and regulatory standards
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality

Communication & Operations

  • Communicate with families and care partners
  • Support resident care coordination and operational needs
  • Assist with emergency preparedness and drills

Qualifications

  • Active New York RN license
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years supervisory or leadership experience in senior living or healthcare (Senior Care or Memory Care experience preferred)
  • Proficiency in EHR systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work flexible schedules


 Physical & Professional Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive hand movements
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and assist with mobility if needed
  • Professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment


Schedule

  • Full-Time
  • Tuesday–Saturday OR Sunday–Thursday
  • Flexibility for occasional evenings/weekends as needed
