Per-Diem Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Glen Allen, VA

Compensation: $50.00–$55.00/hour

Employment Type: Per Diem (Flexible Days & Nights Available)

Setting: Premium Residential Treatment Center

About the Opportunity

NurseAmerica is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our growing per diem staffing pool supporting a premier residential treatment center in Glen Allen, Virginia.

Behavioral health experience is not required. Nurses with strong clinical skills from a variety of healthcare settings are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR.
• Promote a safe and therapeutic residential environment.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Virginia RN license or Compact (NLC) license.
• Current BLS certification.
• One to two years of nursing experience is preferred.
• Experience in med-surg, behavioral health, rehabilitation, long-term care, or related settings is beneficial.
• Excellent communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills.
• Must successfully complete required background screening and drug testing.
