The Role: Clinical Leadership & Vision
As the Director of Nursing, you will serve as the clinical heartbeat of our community. Your expertise will ensure a gold-standard environment that maintains adherence to applicable regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Strategy: Lead the assessment and admission process, ensuring individualized service plans (ISPs) reflect the highest level of person-centered care.
- Team Excellence: Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing nursing team; foster a culture of accountability and professional pride.
- Interdisciplinary Leadership: Collaborate with elite medical partners, pharmacies, and specialists to provide a seamless health experience for residents.
- Quality Assurance: Drive the community's Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives to maintain a "deficiency-free" standard.
- Fiscal Oversight: Manage the clinical budget, including staffing ratios, labor costs, and medical supply inventory.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Must be eligible for California endorsement).
- Leadership: 3+ years of experience as a DON, ADON, or Resident Care Manager in Senior Living, Memory Care, or Skilled Nursing.
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of State/Federal regulations and a track record of successful surveys.
- Communication: Polished leadership presence with the ability to build rapport with affluent families and medical professionals.
- Adaptability: High emotional intelligence and the ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced Silicon Valley environment.
