Job Title: LVN - Certified Surgical Technician Location: Marble Falls, TX
Rate: $35 - $40/hour (depending on experience)
About the Role: NurseAmerica is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented LVN - Certified Surgical Technician to join our team in Marble Falls, TX. In this role, you will support surgical services by assisting in preparing operating rooms, arranging equipment, and helping physicians during surgeries. We are looking for professionals who are calm under pressure, highly organized, and committed to delivering excellent patient care in a surgical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the operating room and surgical instruments prior to procedures
- Ensure all surgical equipment is sterilized and functioning properly
- Assist surgeons and RNs during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Monitor and maintain aseptic techniques to avoid infection
- Track surgical tools and equipment throughout the procedure
- Provide post-operative support and clean-up
- Collaborate effectively with surgical team members and follow safety protocols
Requirements:
- Active LVN license in the state of Texas
- Certification as a Surgical Technician (CST) preferred
- 2 years of overall LVN experience.
- Minimum 6 months of surgical tech experience in an acute care or hospital setting
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures, medical terminology, and sterile techniques
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills
