Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Volleyball Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for the sport and a commitment to developing athletes both on and off the court. This role involves teaching fundamental skills, promoting teamwork, and fostering a positive environment for players of all skill levels. The Girl's Volleyball Coach will work closely with students to enhance their physical education experience while instilling values such as discipline, respect, and sportsmanship.

Duties


  • Develop and implement practice plans that focus on skill development, teamwork, and game strategy.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to improve players' technical skills in volleyball.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to athletes during practices and games.
  • Monitor player progress and adjust training methods as necessary to meet individual needs.
  • Foster a positive team culture that encourages participation, effort, and sportsmanship.
  • Organize and supervise competitive matches, ensuring adherence to rules and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other coaches and staff to create a comprehensive athletic program.
  • Engage in behavior management strategies to maintain discipline during practices and games.
  • Educate athletes on the importance of physical fitness, nutrition, and injury prevention.

Requirements


  • Experience in teaching physical education or coaching volleyball at various levels is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of volleyball fundamentals and strategies.
  • Ability to engage in gym activities as part of physical conditioning for athletes.
  • Experience working with students in an educational or athletic setting is highly desirable.
  • Skills in behavior management to effectively guide student-athletes in a team environment.
  • Ability to drive a 12-15 passenger non CDL van for away games.
