We’re looking for a detail-oriented, dependable, and fun Administrative Assistant to join our team. This part-time position is essential to helping our ministry run smoothly and effectively. The Admin Assistant will support event logistics, communication, systems, and data processes—playing a behind-the-scenes role that helps everything move forward with clarity and care. This role is a mix of administrative support and ministry-minded teamwork. You’ll help manage systems, send out communications, prep materials, and make sure new students and families don’t fall through the cracks.

Reports to: Is served and led by the Student Pastor

Time Commitment: 20 hours per week (Sunday Nights, 1–2 days in office, remainder remote)

Employment Status: Part-Time, hourly; non-exempt

Start Date: August 1st, 2025



Responsibilities:

  • Assist NSM on Sunday nights with set-up and tear down
  • Manage registration and communication for retreats and events
  • Maintain and update systems for student and volunteer data
  • Prepare weekly Sunday slides and print materials
  • Send out weekly volunteer emails and monthly parent updates
  • Follow up with new students and ensure information is entered into our systems
  • Assist with event coordination and logistics as needed
  • Create simple graphics and visual materials 
  • Support general administrative and communication needs
  • Other responsibilities as assigned 


Requirements:

  • Ability to work 1–2 days a week in office; remaining hours remote
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Canva (or willing to learn quickly)
  • Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Detail-oriented and good at managing digital systems
  • Positive attitude and ability to have fun while working



Employment Status: 

Part Time hourly (approximately 20 hours/week); non-exempt.
