Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician/Handyman to support the upkeep and improvement of our multi-family residential properties. This position involves a variety of maintenance and light renovation work. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and takes pride in high-quality craftsmanship.

Your Day to Day:

• Complete maintenance, repair, and renovation tasks for multi-family apartments.
• Perform light carpentry (finish work, trim, cabinets, doors), electrical, plumbing, and painting.
• Turn over units—making vacated or newly acquired apartments move-in ready.
• Ensure units and buildings meet safety standards (locks, alarms, smoke detectors, etc.).
• Use a mobile app for managing work orders and submitting receipts.
• Identify and report maintenance needs and complete assigned work orders promptly.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ or more experience in apartment maintenance/handyman work (required)
• Strong skills in:
• Finish carpentry and trim work
• Cabinet and door installation
• Light plumbing and light electrical repairs
• Strong work ethic: punctual, reliable, flexible
• Ability to use a smartphone, tablet, or computer for work order management
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required)
• Ability to travel daily within MA and NH territory
• Must pass a criminal and motor vehicle background check
• Must have own tools and reliable vehicle
• Ability to meet the Physical Demands: Lift up to 75 lbs. and bending, reaching, crouching, stretching and other related physical activities. Ability to operate a motor vehicle. Ability to work in various environmental conditions including extreme heat and extreme cold temperatures. 

Important Stuff to Know

·       Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am. to 4:00 pm

·       On-call availability on a rotating schedule - very minimal times you need to leave

·       Pay: $30 hour

·       Benefits Eligible position: Medical Insurance, Dental, Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid holidays, all subject to waiting periods and policy requirements.

·       Location: Travel to properties generally in the Merrimack Valley, North Shore (MA) and Southern NH - Travel required within territory
