We are seeking an experienced business development executive to lead our efforts in building our government consulting practice. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with government agencies, responding to RFPs, and winning consulting contracts, with a focus on the GSA schedule.

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to lead our efforts in building our government consulting practice. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with government agencies, responding to RFPs, and winning consulting contracts, with a focus on the GSA schedule.
About You
The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in winning government contracts, excellent relationship-building skills, and the drive to grow our practice. We offer a competitive compensation plan with commission. Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain a security clearance.
● 10+ years of new government business development experience
● Demonstrated ability to consistently win government contracts under the GSA schedule
● Existing relationships with federal, state, or local government agencies
● Knowledge of the GSA schedule and government contracting processes
● Excellent communication and presentation skills
● Experience managing all aspects of the proposal process
● Proven ability to influence government decision makers
● Entrepreneurial spirit and passion for driving growth
About the Work
● Research government agencies and identify new business opportunities for our consulting services
● Build relationships with government decision-makers and identify their needs
● Manage the proposal process from RFP review to submission for contracts under the GSA schedule
● Create compelling proposals and presentations that differentiate our firm
● Manage contract negotiations and ensure compliance with government regulations
● Develop and execute on strategies to win 5-10 new government contracts annually under the GSA schedule
● Achieve yearly revenue targets for government consulting practice
● Remain up-to-date on trends and developments in government contracting
● Recruit/hire talent to support delivery of opportunities in the government space
● Mentor and advise project teams as needed
