Compensation
Base pay: $10 per hour + tips (average total $15 per hour)
Benefits
- Up to 3 weeks of PTO per year (0.0577 hours earned per 1 hour worked)
- Quarterly Bonuses (based on profitability, not guaranteed)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare high quality hot and cold beverages and baked goods while following North Lime’s standards for production
- Follow the recipes and standards for creating and producing North Lime products
- Be mindful to not serve items that don’t meet our standards
- Work to develop new products that will be appealing to our customers
- Respectfully address any quality or recipe issues with team members and, when necessary, a supervisor
- Try to find ways to make North Lime a better place to work by communicating ideas with others
- Opens and/or closes North Lime as scheduled
- Maintains cleanliness in every area of the store at all times.
- Engage customers beyond basic customer service by providing an experience that exceeds what a customer would normally expect
- Accurately handle cash and reconciles change due to customers
- Make things right when the customer isn't happy with their experience
- At minimum, always smile and thank customers for visiting our shop
- Provide a clean, welcoming, family friendly environment for our customers
- Be able to engage, understand and serve customers in a positive way
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Ability to enjoy learning, developing, growing and changing with North Lime
- Ability to handle stress under pressure
- Ability to provide quality customer service
- Ability to learn and use technical equipment (e.g. espresso machine, coffee grinders, brewing equipment )
- Ability to reconcile all cash and currency
- Willingness to maintain a clean, healthy, and safe working environment
- Ability to learn and use technology North Lime uses in store
- Ability to coordinate multiple activities with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
- Personal access to a home phone, mobile phone or electronic mail is required
- Be accepting of all co-workers by treating them with respect and dignity

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and hot liquids. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
