Responsibilities:

• Transform our prototype into a manufacturable product through DFM (Design for Manufacturability) refinement
• Develop and implement a complete manufacturing strategy from small-batch to full-scale production
• Source components and establish reliable supply chain relationships
• Design assembly processes and production workflows for our sleep wearable devices
• Set up and manage quality control systems and testing protocols
• Coordinate with contract manufacturers and vendors to ensure product quality and timeline adherence
• Oversee the initial production run of prototype units and subsequent scaling
• Develop comprehensive manufacturing documentation and production specifications
• Optimize production costs while maintaining product quality and reliability
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and product teams to ensure manufacturability

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in hardware manufacturing, preferably with wearable or consumer electronics
• Proven track record of taking products from prototype to production
• Experience with small-batch manufacturing and production scaling
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and quality control
• Familiarity with PCB assembly, component sourcing, and hardware testing
• Familiarity with textiles, assembly and sourcing
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Strong project management and communication skills
