Essential Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scripts and integrations within the IFS ERP system
- Create and optimize database objects including tables, views, and stored procedures
- Build and maintain reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Write and code databases using PL/SQL and T-SQL
- Design and build custom fields, events, and modules within IFS ERP
- Integrate IFS ERP with third-party systems using APIs and middleware
- Troubleshoot existing systems and APIs, providing timely and efficient resolutions
- Respond to support ticket requests within the time frame outlined in IT support policies
Related Duties:
- Perform user acceptance testing to ensure quality and functionality of ERP enhancements
- Monitor deliverables and ensure the timely completion of assigned projects
- Manage competing priorities and allocate time effectively across multiple tasks
- Participate in system upgrades, patches, and regression testing
- Assist in documenting technical processes, user guides, and system architecture
- Collaborate with internal teams to clarify requirements and deliver technical solutions
- Stay current with trends in ERP development, .NET technologies, and database tools
Qualifications:
Training and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on application development experience in an IFS ERP environment
Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills
- Strong experience with SQL Server, SSRS, ASP.NET, and HTML
- Proficiency in PL/SQL and .NET Core development
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills for ERP systems and APIs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team setting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Physical Requirements:
- Manual dexterity and continual use of computers. Occasional bending, frequent sitting.
Working Conditions
- Office environment and occasional exposure to manufacturing plant environment, with some abnormal variations in temperature, unavoidable fumes, noise, dust and atmospheric conditions.
- Occasional travel to business sites based on project need.
This role will report to the Director of IT.

Work Location: This role is primarily remote, however, we ideally are looking for those who live in the Chicagoland area to come on-site, as needed).
