Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and strategic Account Manager to join our sales organization. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for many of our key partners, ensuring they have the resources, knowledge, and support they need to succeed. You will blend traditional sales expertise with a deep understanding of software value, acting as a bridge between our product team and the marketplace. If you have a passion for building lasting relationships and driving software adoption in the building automation space, this is the perfect opportunity.


You will work closely with leadership, sales, developers, distribution teams, and partner community members to educate, introduce, and recommend the right NiagaraMods solution for our customers to be successful.  This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and takes ownership in supporting revenue growth and expanding addressable markets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a regular cadence of interaction with our distribution teams and Reflow Partner Program members to drive engagement and mutual growth.
  • Confidently discuss value descriptions of our software tools to many different types of buyers, ranging from highly technical system integrators to executive decision-makers.
  • Utilize traditional sales skills to identify upsell opportunities, manage renewals, and support distributors in closing end-user deals.
  • Travel up to 10% of the time to attend industry events, meet with key distributors face-to-face, and represent the company in the field.
  • Work closely with the client experience and technology teams to ensure partner feedback is translated into product improvements.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a traditional sales or account management role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional ability to tailor complex software value propositions to diverse audiences.
  • A history and experience in Building Automation and Controls (such as HVAC controls or the Niagara Framework) is highly desired.
  • Ability to manage your pipeline, set your own daily cadence with partners, and operate with a high degree of autonomy.
