This role serves clients across Norman, OK and involves daily travel between clients homes. This is not a remote-from-home position.


Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The Behavior Technician will work with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).


Responsibilities:

- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA

- Collect data on observable client behavior

- Assist in the development of treatment and care plans

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress notes

- Collaborate with the BCBA to analyze data and modify treatment plans as needed

- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to clients

- Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors


Qualifications:

- Experience in patient care, particularly working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism

- Familiarity with care plans, medical records, and medical documentation

- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and behavior management techniques

- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on outcomes

- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment


Preferred Skills:

- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder

- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification

- Proficiency in using behavioral assessment tools
