Description

This role serves clients across Norman, OK and involves daily travel between clients homes. This is not a remote-from-home position.


Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in a Masters Program related to ABA
  • Experience in patient care, particularly working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism.
  • Familiarity with care plans, medical records and medical documentation.
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and behavior management techniques.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.


Duties

  • Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA
  • Collaborate with the BCBA to analyze data and modify treatment plans as needed
  • Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors
  • Assist in conducting behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention strategies
  • Support the implementation of ABA therapy plans by collecting accurate data on client behaviors and progress
  • Observe and support patient care activities by providing direct one-on-one therapy to clients under supervision, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and confidentiality standards
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of detailed medical documentation, records, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Engage in ongoing training related to the ABA field


Skills

  • Strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis techniques
  • Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder
  • Proficiency in data collection methods for tracking behavior change and progress monitoring
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and patient assessment procedures
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of client information
  • Ability to perform intake procedures accurately while adhering to legal and ethical standards
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, families, and team members in a compassionate manner


Probation Period

  • The role includes a 90-day probationary period. Successful completion of this period is required to ensure you meet the necessary intern-level expectations. Upon passing the probation period you may transition to Intern.


Salary

$23 - $26 per hour
