NextCentury Submetering Solutions International Sales Representative Remote · Full time

The International Sales Representative will be responsible for developing sales strategies and attracting new clients. The successful salesperson will source new sales opportunities and increase sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients. The individual will focus on opening new markets both domestically and internationally, with initial international focus on new opportunities in Mexico.



  • Identify and establish contact with prospective customers
  • Schedule and perform product demonstrations with potential customers
  • Develop and maintain relationship with existing customers
  • Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contacts with existing customers
  • Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales
  • Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic
  • Travel to directly meet with potential and current clients to discuss their requirements, provide product and service demonstrations, negotiate sales contracts, and inform them of new product and service releases and updates. Expected travel 20%-50%
  • Generate and submit sales reports to management


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Knowledge and sales experience in one or more of the following markets: Utilities, RF, Electronics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Self-starter and accountable
  • Spanish fluency highly desirable


Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field is preferred
  • 5 or more years successful proven sales experience meeting/exceeding goals and quotas
  • Technical acumen with the ability to present and sell technology products in a business context
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, management, and negotiation skills
