We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and reliable Child Care Provider to join our preschool team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with young children and a commitment to fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. This role involves caring for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, supporting their social, emotional, and educational development, and collaborating with fellow staff and parents.

Description

Key Responsibilities

·      Supervise and ensure the safety of children in all activities and environments.

·      Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and play activities.

·      Assist children with basic needs, including meals, hygiene, and rest periods.

·      Promote positive interactions and help children develop social skills.

·      Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment.

·      Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress and needs.

·      Follow preschool policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations and meeting the minimum standards as required by the State of Texas.

Qualifications

·      High school diploma or equivalent; Child Development Associate (CDA) or Early Childhood Education certificate preferred.

·      Previous experience working with young children in a child care or preschool setting.

·      CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

·      Strong communication and teamwork skills.

·      Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for early childhood education.

·      Ability to pass background checks and provide references.

Work Schedule & Compensation

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with occasional opportunities for overtime or special events. Competitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include paid time off, professional development opportunities, and a supportive working environment.
