Key Responsibilities:

• Classroom Coverage: Step in for Lead or Assistant Teachers as needed, following daily lesson plans and maintaining classroom routines.
• Supervise and Engage Children: Ensure the safety and well-being of children in your care, engaging them in educational and play activities.
• Follow Lesson Plans: Implement lesson plans provided by the Lead Teacher or create age-appropriate activities as needed.
• Assist with Classroom Management: Help maintain a positive and structured learning environment using behavior management strategies.
• Support Learning and Development: Encourage children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through planned activities and spontaneous interactions.
• Communicate with Staff: Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure smooth transitions and a cohesive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting is preferred, but we are willing to train individuals with a passion for early childhood education.
• Ability to quickly adapt to different classroom environments and needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
