Responsibilities
- Welcome and supervise children in a safe, nurturing environment.
- Assist teachers with classroom activities, routines, and transitions.
- Engage children through play, learning experiences, and positive interactions.
- Support arrival, before-care, snack, outdoor play, dismissal, and end-of-day routines, depending on assigned shift.
- Maintain clean, organized classrooms and common areas.
- Use positive guidance techniques to support children's social and emotional development.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and administration to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Assist with light cleaning, sanitizing, and classroom preparation as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with young children is preferred but not required.
- Friendly, reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Schedule
Choose one of the following consistent schedules:
- Morning: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–10:00am
- Afternoon: Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–6:00pm
Additional hours may be available based on enrollment and staffing needs, with opportunities for future full-time employment.
