Newman Early Learning Center is seeking a flexible, nurturing, and energetic Assistant Floater Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This position supports multiple classrooms (infants through pre-K), assisting lead and assistant teachers throughout the day to ensure consistent, high-quality care and a safe, engaging environment for our children.

This position is slated to begin in September 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily routines and transitions in various classrooms.
- Assist with supervising and engaging children in age-appropriate activities.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
- Follow established schedules and routines of each classroom.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
- Assist with diapering, toileting, handwashing, meals, and cleanup as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold center policies and state licensing regulations.
- Step in as additional support during teacher breaks or staff absences.
Qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma.
- Experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting is required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A love for working with children and a commitment to their well-being and growth.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Salary & Details:
- Salary for this position is $36,400 per year.
- The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, from 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM. Please only apply if you are available to work these exact hours.
- Salary may be distributed over a 10-month or 12-month pay schedule, depending on employee preference.
- This position is funded through a grant. Salary and continued employment are contingent upon the availability of grant funds. While we anticipate ongoing support, renewal of funding is not guaranteed. Candidates should be aware that this role is subject to the terms and duration of the current grant cycle and continued funding.
