Position Details:

  • Start Date: August 28, 2026
  • August 28–September 1: Professional Development & Classroom Setup
  • September 2: First Day of School
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:45am–3:45pm
  • Additional paid Professional Development days may become available over the summer.
  • Salary is in alignment with school district tiers and teachers will follow along with district calendar and guidelines.
  • No nights or weekends


This is a grant-funded position and is contingent upon continued partnership with the Cinnaminson School District.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead teacher in the classroom, responsible for overall classroom management, instruction, and environment
  • Work closely with a full-time assistant teacher, effectively delegating responsibilities and fostering a collaborative, respectful team dynamic
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of preschool learners, utilizing the HighScope curriculum
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that supports all children
  • Monitor and assess student progress, using data to guide instruction and interventions
  • Utilize positive guidance strategies to support social-emotional development and manage behavior effectively
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, behavior, and family communication
  • Collaborate with families, colleagues, and related service providers to support each child’s growth and success
  • Meet all center and district deadlines and requirements
  • Partake in professional development throughout the year


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Valid New Jersey PreK–3 Teaching Certification (required)
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and meet individual student needs
  • Commitment to teamwork and collaboration
  • Proficiency with technology for instruction, documentation, and communication
