New York Pilates is looking for a motivated and experienced Multi-Unit Manager. This role will play an essential role by owning the in-store experience and business performance within multiple stores, with multi-store accountability in the market leading a high performing team. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills and are effective problem solvers. Multi unit managers are responsible for training and developing their store leadership as well as monitoring the advancement of their store’s profitability, customer service,and operational standards.

The role has autonomy in ways of motivating and leading their teams to success which includes meeting monthly KPIs. Multi-Unit Managers utilizes problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and excellent judgment under pressure. 


This role will be based locally in the region it supports. This position will report to the Director of Operations as well as coordinating with other members of the NYP Leadership Team. This is a full time position that will include nights, weekends and holidays.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Acting Manager over multiple New York Pilates locations. 
  • Assist the Director of Operations in maximizing sales and profits by meeting and exceeding sales budgets. Set and meet sales goals.
  • Lead teams to generate new business via lead generation and new member conversions
  • Source, recruit and train all store leadership on Sales and Operations; ensure consistency in training and execution throughout the entire team 
  • Assists the Director of Operations in recruiting and developing quality staff at all levels for your active studios. Provide input to location succession planning and effective management and training for staff
  • Manage and direct store leadership  to high priority needs regarding the upkeep and maintenance of facility, equipment and brand standards
  • Allocate time in all studios based on the managerial needs of the locations
  • Review and educate store leadership on individual and studio’s KPIs
  • Support/coach studio leadership to develop their sales staff and consistent programming amongst instructor team; coach leadership to execute progressive disciplinary actions when necessary
  • Sign off on Payroll, Commissions and Timesheet reconciliations
  • Assist the Director of Operations in executing the day-to-day activities in support of the strategic planning initiatives to ensure a productive and profitable operation across your studios
  • Help to promote an overall image of brand excellence through strong work ethic and leadership 
  • Provide consistent delivery of excellent customer service and studio visual presentation
  • Ensure communications from Leadership is delivered to all staff levels
  • Ensures full adherence to all company policies and procedures
  • Performs daily/ weekly operational audits of studios within your purview


Requirements: 

  • 3-5 years managing a successful team to revenue growth and operational excellence
  • Traveling required, we want you in the studio immersing yourself into the NYP culture and teams! 
  • Must have fantastic customer service & hospitality skills 
  • Strong ability to be able communicate successfully with both studio level and HQ 
  • Some non traditional work hours may be required, late night, weekends and some holidays
  • Background in fitness or luxury retail

Competitive Compensation💸

Things we take into account when calculating the compensation are global averages per skillset, your local cost of living, your skills, and your experience. This role will range with an annual base salary of $82,500-$100,000 with monthly bonus opportunities bi-annually based on revenue KPI’s.
