Position Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and personable Front Desk Receptionist & Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment for our clients and visitors while supporting administrative operations behind the scenes. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a behavioral health setting.


Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk Duties:


  • Greet clients and visitors warmly and professionally
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls
  • Manage check-ins and maintain client confidentiality
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars for providers
  • Keep the reception area clean, organized, and stocked with materials

Administrative Support:


  • Assist with filing, scanning, and data entry of client documents
  • Prepare and process intake forms and new client paperwork
  • Support onboarding tasks and employee file maintenance
  • Manage incoming/outgoing mail and office supplies
  • Maintain communication between clinical and administrative teams

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred
  • 1+ year experience in a front desk or administrative role (preferably healthcare or behavioral health)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Experience working in a behavioral health or medical office
  • Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) a plus
